Synchronized Swim

Synchronized Swim was an installation presented at the USC Wrigley Institute on Catalina Island. Created by myself, Ann Xu, and Jay Borgward, this experience was meant to call to attention humanity's place in nature as it should be. The swimmer above the reef is featured as part of the landscape rather than an imposing factor, which we designed to bring to mind the concept of harmony and synchronicity with the ocean. 

 

Synchronized Swim involved projecting animated content into a fountain filled with water by rigging projectors to the central pillar. I am very thankful to have had a very smart and talented team of artists and technicians to work on this with.
